My Macbook seems to be acting up, i first hooked it up to my TV with a Mini DVI to Video adaptor, after removing the adaptor, the Macbook still thought the TV was hooked up and refused to go back to 1280x800. Called Apple Care they todl me to reset the PRAM which fixed the issue.

Now I hooked it up to my Samsung Monitor at my desk, and used it for like an hour, than unhooked the samsung monitor and its now doing the same thing, it still things another display is hooked up to this macbook. I need to trick the macbook by setting a widescreen resolution on the other display that the macbook thinks is connected to get a full 1280x800 resolution on my display. Just tried resetting the PRAM did not help. Any other ideas?
