I created a software RAID 0 with two 250GB hard disks by using Disk Utility. Installed OSX on them. And I restored them to two separated disks yesterday. Installed OSX on one of them, formated another one for media storage. But weird thing is when I press "alt"key into boot screen, they are still there! Now I have five boot icons- two RAID disks, one OSX, one backup OSX and one for windows. What is wrong with that?? Really don't like it!!! Anyone have the same problem? PLZ help!!!:(

Problem solved! I reformated the disks using "zero-out" option in Disk Utility and guess what? The stupid icons disappeared!:D "zero-out" formating will take longer than normal formating, about 40 minutes for a 250GB HD.
