I use the command line heavily and know that benefits of it VS doing the same things in GUI apps. But I don't know what the appeal of TUI file explorers are compared to GUI ones. I only looked briefly at ones like Ranger and nnn. I like using Finder and have the window sized so I see 6 x 5 files at a time with a large icon size. My terminal size is 80 x 25 so to get something like that in a TUI explorer I'd have to make the window size much larger, Its not that big a deal but for some reason I don't like the idea of it, like it would take some adjusting.
The only benefits I can think of is navigating and interacting with files in the terminal while cd cp mv are good enough for me on the command line, and pure keyboard navigation (Finder has a lot keyboard shortcuts, even if its not fully keyboard navigable).
