Hello,

What are the benefits of MobileMe for an iPhone user, aside from push email (I use an Exchange email on my phone) and Find My iPhone?

If one is not making use of the calendar and push email... is it kind of pointless/unnecessary?

I use it for the iDisk functionality myself. That, and keeping all my Apple related stuff in one spot, so I don't have to worry about multiple iTunes accounts. Anything Mac/Apple related goes to the .me account.

If you have Exchange, the only feature you will be missing is the ability to see the device on a map. Exchange supports remote kill, so if your device is lost, you can use that to ensure the data isn't stolen as well.
