- Larger display in similar form factor.
- Laminated display
- Apple Pencil 2

All of the above, while maintaining the current price point would make me consider an upgrade. If not, I’ll just stick to my iPad Air 2. Works great for me.

10 inch is the cut off for free Microsoft Word isn't it? 10.2 would put me firmly in the Mini camp so it would be nice to have 9.7-10 exactly to keep options open.

More like what I don't want, i.e., laminated display along with its tendency for spots, bands, yellow edges, etc. Perfectly happy with current problem-free, clear, hi res Retina.

If the latest rumour is true (big IF) I can only imagine the 10.5" pro is going to be the basis for a new premium iPad outside the Pro lineup, but sitting above the basic ones at round the $650 price it currently occupies. I'd imagine this one will be differentiated by the laminated display, ProMotion and AX processor over the basic $329 model. This would mean no laminated display for the basic iPad (though the 10.2" rumour returns interestingly).

I use the iPad Pro as my main personal computing device. Would I even notice the less ram and less power of the iPad-regular? I'm just using streaming apps to cast, lots of browser tabs, kindle, and games sometimes. All the power user stuff I need to do is over a remote connection to a real computer. I'm not sure that I need the iPad Pro compared to the iPad.

A lot of browser tabs might benefit from 4GB, though it will be marginal if the basic iPad is upped to 3GB. You’ll definitely notice a bit of a difference if it does stay at 2GB though.

I'm not sure it keeps browser tabs in ram. It just keeps a screenshot to show you all your tabs and reloads the page if its been a while.

Personally most important feature apart form the mandatory spec bump A11 its the laminated screen.

I have been willing to get the 2018 model but non laminated screen put me off.

I have an air 2 and the battery is def lower than when I first got it, not horrible, but the only thing that would make me upgrade is more ram and a good price point. it is starts at 64GB, that would help as well.
