Hallo,

Someone had recommended me Disc Inventory X to see how heavy my files are. As I was looking into the chunks of information in my hard drive, I was able to see that right after my music folder with 12 GB, the virtual PC is very hefty - 6 GB !!!

Is that normal ???

What I have inside the vitual pc is microsoft windows xp, a language dictionary that i can only use with a pc, adobe acrobat, quick time, an application for an mp3 player that belongs to my sister, and perhaps another application that i can´t recall now. However, I find it quite enormous to be that size.

Perhaps there is an explanation to it. Thank you very much in advance for all your help.

6GB is the size of the virtual hard disk that virtual PC runs from - it might not be full, but it's 'reserved' for virtual PC and is seen by the Mac as a single file.
