What does this message mean?

Does it mean the thread has been deleted? I've gotten it a couple of times when clicking on thread titles from the macrumors.com homepage.

More often than not, it means a thread was removed. In some cases, it may be indicitive of a problem with the forums. I know it sucks, because these threads always have the *most* interesting subject lines... probably why they get deleted
