For examples these two pages. Of course the design of the elements are a huge part. I think all the Illustrator elements look great.

Chrome says jquery but what else can we know about the development of this site?

I like the layout of the courses. How is it done?

Would it be possible to do via themes? For example click on course link, deliver video, have a Q&A section for that course or separate support forum, etc.

Nothing special at all. Just bog standard 12 column grid layout. Looks just simple originate bootstrap to me without having the tools to investigate in developer mode on my iPad...
