Wow, I purchased my Wii just last Friday so i have only had it for a week and 1 day, and I have already spent $200+ on games and accessories. I cant believe it. Im interested in seeing what games (virtual and disc) and accessories MR users have purchased. Ill start out with my list.

Wii Console: $267
Call of Duty 3: $50
Wii Play: $50
Spiderman 3: $50
Zelda Ocarina of Time: 1000 Points ($10)
Wiimote and Nunchuck grips: $15
Extra Nunchuck: $20
Extra Wiimote: came with wii play
Classic Controller: $20

Note, you dont have to incude the prices for everything, i was just doing that because i cant believe ive spent almost $500 all together. But hey, it was worth it!

Mac since 7.5
Launch Day:
Wii
2nd Wiimote
2nd nunchuk
Zelda TP
Excite Truck
Super Monkey Ball BB
Wii Points card

Since:
Nintendo component cables
Wii Play
Wario Smooth Moves
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Cars
Classic controller
Wii Points card
VC Games: All the old Mario and Zelda titles, Castlevania

Pending:
Mario Party 8
Pokemon Battle Revolution [my son is chomping at the bit for this one]

I'd rather not think about how much that all cost, since I'd then have to think about how much more I've spent on PS3, 360, DS, and PSP consoles, games, and misc. gear.

Dont get mario party 8... its supposed to suck.

I bought zelda, sold it, but then got it for free.

All the games suck now, every system goes through this phase. Resident Evil will be good though, and Guitar Hero III will be good too... probably a few others. Upcoming games look weak though

My sister has picked up a few games too. And half the games and items on the list were gifts or parents credit card. I'm thinking I spent around £90 myself actually. And of course the Wii was bought for the family. Liked I planned I'm only buying the "best of" this gen. All the above games I friggin love and don't "suck" ;)

NOW... the DS. DS Classic+Lite, substantial library of games, M3 (Cave Story homebrew port on the horizon)... I'm too scared to calculate :(

Quick question, any of you guys purchase the Wii "Chill Station?" It is basically a stand for the wii. It has a USB powered fan at the bottom, an illuminating blue light at the base (just like the wii slot) and it also has a holder for 2 controllers and 2 nunchucks. Its 20 bucks and i just want to know if its any good.

Thanks

Nope. Maybe it's the weather up here but our Wii doesn't get hot. Then again it isn't next to X, Y and Z head producing hifi gear.

In a cup of orange juice.
This thread can potentially get HUGE quickly. :)

I would like to get those grips, but at $15 a pop, I'll pass. My friend had to take off the rubber to sync it to my other friend's Wii, that seemed a bit annoying.

Oh, if you guys buy a charger station get the Nyko set, not the other brand that I can't recall their name. The other brand was designed by a tard. The Wiimote can't be synced without spare batteries, because they built the rechargeable batteries into the cover, so once you remove it the Wiimote has no power. The Nyko doesn't have this issue.
