iPhone What is the Alternate word option

Been playing with the new beta for a while and am loving it.
By feel, the new kb is pretty damn cool, but I can't - for the life of me - figure out what's the Alternate Word Option feature they're talking about and was unable to find any info online.

Anyone can shed some light?

ok... I was actually referring to the new keyboard feature Apple mention we can expect in iOS 13..
