So on my iPhone 6 if I am viewing something in landscape and then lock the phone the lock screen becomes landscape. It doesn’t rotate back vertical, forcing me to reopen the phone again to fix. iOS 11 is by far the most terrible update I’ve ever seen from this company. I could go on and on of all the removed and useless features they’ve done in this update.

How is it a feature when you cant use the entire phone in landscape? Only on the plus you can, all it does is add another inconvenient step in having to unlock the phone again to make it vertical. And i am not going to turn on orientation lock when i like to view various things in landscape.

Over this update, ill be looking up how to revert back to 10.3.3 tonight, thank god i have a copy downloaded.

I keep having this problem on my SE. It is annoying, since the phone screen does not rotate with it when you get passed it. They should just make landscape a things on all of the phones and not just the big ones. It would come in handy, especially in the car when going between google maps and other apps.

only happens when you're in an app that can do landscape.
for example open safari, rotate to landscape, then lock/unlock.

10.3.3 is still currently being signed, best bet is to downgrade and wait a bit. I am back on 10.3.3 after a brief encounter with iOS he(11).

7+ here

Just tried to replicate this problem and it didn’t do it. Worked just like normal for me.

maybe only iPhone 6 i guess.

I have 6S Plus if that makes a difference.

With every large OS update, there will be unforeseen random bugs. Bugs that may or may not be resolved with a next minor patch.

I quite like the way it looks too :(

Me too!!
[doublepost=1506110189][/doublepost]The issue could be related to 3rd party wallpaper? Just a guess because i haven't seen that wallpaper before.
