iPhone 15/Plus What version of iOS will the iPhone 15 and 15 PRO come installed with?

Does anyone know what version of iOS the iPhone 15 and 15 PRO will come pre-installed with? I seem to remember once before that I had pre-installed a newer version of iOS and when I got my new iPhone (and no I don't remember which model or version) I had to update the iPhone before restoring from a backup. My and my wife's current iPhones have iOS 16 - hence the question. Thanks.

It will come with iOS 17 but will have a Day 1 update just for the 15/15 Pro/15 Pro Max.

I just got a 15 pro max yesterday (after returning a launch day pro) and this pro max came with 17.0.2 preinstalled…didn’t need to update prior to restoring it.
