One of my first Apple products was this lamp iMac (magnified) I haven't got any pictures of my Pismo laptop. This iMac was one I went out and bought outright in a retail shop.
Spent many hours theming OS X Tiger on there. Konfabulator and such...oh the memories.
My female cousing asked if I had a camera.. I did - but she wanted to take a selfie and all I could provide for her was a digital camera bought in Aldi, that I still have.
The camera was set up with a timer in my bookcase. Oh the laughs we had. It was my birthday too I remember. Probably my 25th birthday.

It was sheer luck that the iMac was caught on camera too. I wasn't in the habit of taking pictures much - despite having a digital camera. The camera was crap.

iBook G4 ("Snow") that I bought used off of eBay and used it for about 6 months until I saw the 12" PowerBook G4. Drool...

Apple ][ Plus with a 16K language card, an Apple Monitor ///, an RF modulator for a 13" color TV and two -- TWO -- Apple Disk ][ drives. Plus a set of Apple paddles.
Loved that machine.
Had to have been the equivalent of $5000. Crazy.

Was it only the HP that had this message? I can't remember it on any of mine 😂 (I was pretty young however)
I believe this was standard on all iPods at the time. Which ones have you had over the years? (this is the only iPod I've ever owned, and in my opinion one of the best designed, having adopted the Click Wheel from the iPod mini).

My first Mac was a PowerMac G4 Digital Audio aswell, but it was a bit slower, than yours, the 466 MHz. I bought it used in 2004. Two years later I bought a CPU upgrade card from Sonnet (1,4 GHz G4).
Hey, I found some pictures :) A little correction: the upgrade was a year later in 2005.

Just before upgrading to...

... Mac OS X Tiger 10.4(.3) and with an internal IDE/ATAPI iomega Zip drive.

A photo of the Sonnet Encore/ST G4 box:

About an half year later it was upgraded with this graphic card:

And here is the PowerMac G4 Digital Audio with the Sonnet 1.4 GHz just before being replaced by a Dual PowerMac G5 2.0 GHz in late 2007:

The G4 has been bought by an acquaintance of mine.

These were some interesting times :)

I bought a used PowerMac G4 533Mhz Digital Audio with 384MB ram and a GeForce 3 64MB VRAM from a guy for $300 in 2003 with Mac OS X Panther. The first new product I ever bought was a iPod 3rd Generation 30GB early the next year.

Here
My first Apple product was a 5th generation iPod nano that I got in early 2010. I was in 10th grade and until then I was listening to CDs using a Sony CD player because that was "good enough" but I got tired of swapping out disks. I was super proud because it was my first "large" personal purchase. I opted for the 16GB despite only having like 3.5 GB of music and thought "this is way more than I'll ever need" as I sit here today with a 120GB library. :D

When I graduated high school in 2004 my parents got the iMac G4 for me as a graduation present. It still works flawlessly to this day and hooked me on Apple products (still have the box and everything for it as well).

I bought a Mac Plus, a Mac 512ke, and a Laserwriter Plus in 1986 (plus a bunch of accessories) and started a little desktop publishing business out of my house. I think it totaled around $12,000 altogether.

The desktop publishing business didn't make a lot of money, but I got a sweet job offer from a large print shop to come in and bring DTP into their business that quickly paid for my stuff.

A Macintosh SE, had to put in a 40MB hard drive myself, I believe my RAM was 512k. Before I put in the HD, I booted the system from a floppy into a program called Ramdisk.

Apple product in general: a black 8GB iPhone 4.
Mac: this 900MHz iBook G3, my Cloud Nine. I bought it in June 2021.

I took this because I got 10.2.0 working on a machine which shipped with 10.2.4. Still need to stop playing around and just get 10.2.8 on there already... at least dual booted with 10.5.0.

The legendary iPhone 4. It was my first year in the US and had no exposure to Apple products before then... and now I'm all in on Apple devices.
