Apple can just simply combine the Air and 10gen...
The usb-c and Apple Pencil with lightning port is very confusing(Too inconvenient to charge) . Still keeping a 3dot connector at the bottom edge and making a new Microsoft surface keyboard is also weird, thus the vanilla iPad can't use the Magic Keyboard and vice versa(Tim, it's not good for the environment). No more headphone port is also crazy, since vanilla iPads usually hit the market for people who aren't having much budget or schools. Imagine a class of kids trying to get bluetooth headphones connected to the iPad they're using instead of their friend's iPad (Giving up the environment goal in order to sell more AirPods)
While people are saying that the home button design should be eliminated, Apple did things that messed up the entire lineup. The Air and Pro have the same-level chip just to let it have the excuse to run stage manager, if Air5 have A15 and run stage manager, Air4(2020) users will be frustrated.
So in my own opinion, the Air and 10gen are both like ***t.
Steve Jobs came back at apple and found that there were too much variations of a product. (something like 50kinds of desktop computers)
