I'm currently using an iphone SE 3rd gen and while it's good and fast , its battery life sucks having to charge it at least twice a day , not to mention the battery degradation ( it's at 89% after only 8 months lol ) , I have thought about getting an iphone 11 as a second device since it's cheaper and I heard it has a good battery life , what's your thoughts on it ? It still have at least one year left of iOS update plus I can get the 128gb model for 280$ second hand
Or should I go for a 12 mini / regular 12 ?
Thanks in advance

I have both an 11 and 15 pro max. You’re actually more or less would be going down in a lot of specs because your SE 3 is based off an iPhone 13.

$280 for an iPhone 11 is a bit pricey. I’d say maybe 220 and that’s even pushing it in my
Opinion.

You’re probably better off buying a new battery for the SE 3 plus one of those battery cases some peole
Have.

Im not sure where you are from but Amazon has some reconditioned iPhone 12s for around the same price as the 11 you want to buy or maybe $30 more.

The 11 is my favorite phone but I don’t think I’d go from an Se 3 for it. It’s not bad but it’s also now almost five years old. Also it likely has one major update left. Your se 3 should have at least 3.

I have an iPhone 11 - bought it in October 2019. Battery is currently 77% and still lasts the whole day.

I've been very happy with it, although I suspect it won't support iOS 18, so would purchase something a bit newer.

I think it will since it started with iOS 13 so would make sense for it to last 5 years

Going off past apple release, it likely will be dropped after iOS 18.

And the iPhone 12 wouldn’t be too much of a downgrade imo if you wanted to get that one. But i probably wouldn’t buy an 11 in 2024

Why not trade in your Iphone SE 3rd gen and get a new Iphone 13 for $439? Apple has their "no interest" for 24 or 36 months. $12 per month after trade in!
