Yeah - not actually WhatsApp for the iPad - just a viewer for the WhatsApp web function.

yes, but the most of people don't know how to open a Web WhatsApp into iPad, this app is for this people.
But I have been working to add notifications and some other features.
this is only a first version

I use WhatsApp a lot on my iPhone, so will download the iPad version and have a look.
A larger viewing area on the iPad could be for viewing/sharing images and videos.

Must the app on iPhone stay open ? I guess after testing I answered my own question , it's no .

It will probably be great when notifications work .
