iPhone Whatsapp making use of Siri during audio calls?

I’ve noticed from checking my battery use statistics that WhatsApp audio calls use up a substantial amount of battery power on Siri in the background. I don’t use Siri for audio commands and have it turned off, and it has started recently showing up in the stats after I have been on an audio call. It seems very strange but these are substantial chunks of power, about 12% after half an hour.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I’ve got iOS 17.1 installed on my iPhone 13 Pro, with the latest WhatsApp version.
