Do they usually not lift until launch day or will they come out a couple days early? Just like to see some more details. Apples always vague on some of the specs

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro: Wednesday (14th) at 9:00am EST

Apple Watch Series 8 and SE: Thursday (15th) at 9:00am EST
Later than last year? The full reviews came out on Tuesday, if I recall correctly

Look forward to the camera reviews! Hope it’s a major leap forward as the rumors have suggested. Hard to judge a smartphone camera by specs alone these days.

Last year, they came out on Tuesday. I went back and checked articles to confirm.

Yeah but the event itself was on a Tuesday instead of Wednesday like this year, correct?

Apple probably wants reviewers to have the devices for a full week so perhaps we won’t see the embargo lifted til Wednesday

Or apple may want the “positive” reviews to come out earlier to further drive sales…

well Tuesday has come and gone for those to lift so fingers crossed for tomorrow!
yeah, likely will be tomorrow.

That works out well- my preorder won't deliver until 9/21, so if I find in the reviews that the camera is not resulting in really any better photos, then I will be able to cancel my preorder and stick with my 13 Pro. :) (My carrier is offering $400 off a 14 Pro, and between that and what I can get selling my 13 Pro, the phone would be free, so no loss either way)

Yea mines not until mid October delivery so I have plenty of time to stew about it lol. Definitely hoping for a good night time improvement and I lover playing with the raw photos in low light

haha Time to stew- I like the way you phrased that.

Agreed- I was disappointed with the camera on the 13 Pro after all of the hype about how great it was going to be, so I am hoping we'll get some honest reviews this time around- and that the major change in sensors will truly make a difference this time around.

I find a big jump in low light quality if you switch over to the raw format. Got some pretty amazing shots on a tripod using it.

Wow, those are great shots! I'll have to play around with ProRAW a bit more on mine.
I don't like how muddy most shots look- when viewing images on my computer monitor the smaller details are just a mess- sort of that watercolor look that others here have complained about, and over-processed otherwise to the point that I rarely am happy with them.

It is interesting, though, that I don't really see any of that in the example shots you posted here!
Do you use the native camera app for your ProRaw images, or do you use a 3rd party app?

Just the native app and they turned out amazing
