Hi,

I'm looking to pickup the base model M2 Studio Max. Is my understanding correct in that I will get better SSD performance with the 1TB model vs the 512K model? For example, does the 512K model has only 1 SSD but the 1TB has two SSDs in stripe configuration?

As far as i know 512 Gb uses 2 Chips and 1, 2 and more Tb use 4 chips. That means 1 Tb is 2 times as fast as 512 Gb and there is no speed gain getting more than 1 Tb.

May be my last post was wrong, starting with 4 Tb there are 8 chips and 4 and 8 Tb have even faster ssd speed.
