Both of these motherboards seem very similar. Which board would you choose?

I am looking for a hackintosh board I have asked at Tony86 with no luck. I am looking for a board that works well with a Hackintosh as well as supporting USB 3.1 Gen 2 and Intel Optane.

Processor: Intel i7 7700
Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB 3000 MHZ
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB
Power Supply: Seasonic Platinum 660 - SS-660XP2
Video Card: Asus R9 280X flashed for Mac

I saw your post on tonymac but couldn't give you a definitive answer since I've never used either.

I also do not know if optane will be supported in macOS...

That being said, historically, Gigabyte boards have been far more popular among the hackintosh community and would probably be a wider choice. Keep in mind that Z270 still quite new and you may experience some growing pains with it.

I decided on the Gigabyte eventhough there seems to be issues with it now. Hopefully soon those will be fixed.
