iPad Pro White Magic Keyboard yellowing already...

Hi all!

After purchasing the M1 iPad Pro 12,9" earlier this year with the White Magic Keyboard, I am already beginning to see major discolouration and yellowing of the MK. I do take care of it and have not spilled anything on it.

Is anyone else experiencing this yet? And if so, any tips on cleaning the MK if so?

I'm sorry to hear this. I received and returned one because I was afraid that I would be unable to keep it clean. Looked great with my silver iPP though.

My keyboard is nearly 8 years old and hasn't discolored a bit. Perhaps your environment is to blame (UV, smoking)?

I have the white magic keyboard for iPad 12.9, but I can't believe it will yellow out... time will tell. I hope you have not used some cleaning solution on it, have you? I will only be cleaning it with water dampened cloth.

How much yellowing are we talking about here? snap a picture real quick?

Mines completely fine but I baby the thing to death lol. The black looks horrible with all the grease It shows.

Seems like both colors can’t keep clean in the long run. It’s a shame since I want to buy one of them.

My white one still looks good. Are you leaving it in the sun or anything? Some pictures would help

I’ve had the black one since May 2020 and to be honest, you can easily wipe the grease stains out or just completely avoid eating next to it, not even the top case is bad at all, To be honest I wanted to switch it to a white keyboard if a new iteration gets released but now I’m just thinking of keeping it black as is!!!

I don’t really care much about the bottom but even then that’s just normal wear and tear haha
