I'm wondering if someone could test something for me:

1. Connect iPhone to TV
2. Play video so it is shown on TV
3. Press home button (video should stop playing)
4. Lock device
5. Double press home button and select play

What happens now? Is it just the audio or video as well?

Thanking you in advance for anyone kind enough to test this out for me!

Make sure you have the AV cables that hook up to the bottom of the iPhone, just as if you were plugging into the iPhone connecting USB cable. If you got the AV cable that plugs into the headphone jack, you'll only get audio....Hope this helps:cool:

I just tried this out for you. Double-pressing home and then pressing play plays audio only - audio from the last song you were playing, not the video! This was using an iPhone 3G running OS 3.0. Hope that helps.
