Maybe in September.

My 8 is running fine. Curious to see if still acceptable performance under iOS 14. If so, might hang onto it and upgrade in the following year.

Then again, might get an itchy trigger finger being cooped up and might just say "what the heck".

I predict your finger will get very, very itchy hanging around the forum.

I am. I am either getting a red 128 gb or a 256 gb. I can't decide in storage size, and can trade in my 6s+ towards it for a $100 off. I like the idea of having a ton of offline music storage, but other than that, I could get by easily with the 128... I ordered a leather iPhone 8 case already, and will grab a cheap clear one, and the new blue leather one and charging battery case. Decisions Decisions...

Since it's only a tiny bit larger than my 6s, double the storage would be nice in a black 256. It's not the form factor I wanted, though, so I might hold out until my battery dies again.

Gonna jump from the X to the SE. I’m more interested in the A13 than the camera on the X. With trade in, it will be about $120.

Getting one for my wife ASAP. Her old SE is dying. Work has a load of test phones so I can borrow those all I like (iOS developer). Though I did say I'd get one when they came out. Touch ID FTW, though Face ID has grown on me.

I am about 75% sure I am going to. If so probably black and definitely just 64gb. I went from an 8 to an 11 that arrived last Thursday, so I can still return that. And it shows on the military discount site already, so I can get it for $359. I may even grab a red one for my son too and sell his 8+.

I see no reason for ordering the new SE. It's the same size as the 8 (which I already own). It might be faster and have a better camera, both of which I don't care about. I still have Apple Care + on my 8 and will keep it for a while longer.

To be honest, I don't think the SE2 offers much over the 8 Plus. I mean sure its faster but are we really going to notice it? The price point isn't bad though.

Buying the white 128GB version as a backup mainly for myself, but I guess I'll also let my husband use it if something happens to his phone (doubt he'll get his own backup - he'll NEEEVER need one according to him).

Gonna wait on the 5.4" iPhone and see how that turns out before deciding between it and the new SE.

same.
my aging 6s can wait a little longer.
but if the refresh rate on the September 2020 5.4" model is not high enough to prevent headaches due to PWM that i am susceptible to, then i will just buy this just newly released iPhone SE but in September/October, staying with reliable and steady LCD.

I'm planning on getting an iPhone in June. This phone is soooooo tempting because it offers such great value for the price but I think the display is a little too small for me. Probably going 11 Pro (not the regular 11, though tempting as well, is a little too big for what I want).

My mom’s birthday is coming up in June. I’m thinking about getting her a 64GB model. It’ll be replacing her 7 that I got her a few years ago.

I recently got my Dad an 8 this past Christmas. I should have waited and got him one too!

I am planning to order a black 128Gb for my wife. This will replace her iPhone 8 black 64Gb that she uses now. She will appreciate the new cameras. She always has dozens of safari tabs open. The additional RAM should benefit that also. The improvements to WiFi she won't see right away until we update our wifi box, but the LTE improvements should be noticeable.

The iphone 8 that she was using will go to my teen, who is currently making do with my wife's previous iPhone 6.

Apple will give you $250 on trade for the 8+. You can get $300-$350 on swappa most likely. But then you factor in selling fees and shipping, and the profit isn’t that great. A local buyer would probably pay $350 for a mint 8+. I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle, but it depends on how easy the sale was.

I will pass on the SE. I am waiting for the 5.4 iPhone 12 then I will decide what to buy. Currently my iPhone 8 still works well so I'm good for now.
