I thought Apple was finally past that...

Apple: "ThE iPhOnE 12 iS 11% tHinNeR tHaN iT's PreDeCeSsOr!" Yeah... at a 1 hour battery cost.

"ThE 5mn A14 SaVeS mOrE pOwEr!" Is that an excuse?

How hard can it be to make the phone instead of 11% thinner, 11% thicker? Everyone was so thankful to Apple when they finally did that with the iPhone 11 (bigger, heavier, thicker) - UNNOTICEABLE to everyone, yet it made the iPhone 11 a battery beast.

Sorry for the rant.

Apple's been making iPhones thicker for years. The iPhone 12 lineup is the first time in five years they've made the iPhone thinner year-over-year, and even then we're still thicker than the 6, 6S, or 7 were.

I don’t want it any thicker. In comparison to my X, the 12 is heavy. It’s been a bit of an adjustment to the new weight. I don’t think it needs to get drastically thinner, but definitely the reverse isn’t true either. There’s a balance and apple was pretty close to the sweet spot with the 11 Pro batteries.
