as the title says. i don’t see any features that are worth the update.

how about you folks? any reason why you’re staying with iOS 15?

My phone can't go beyond 15, so easy decision :) But if it could, I wouldn't update till well into 2023. The quality of Apple's software has declined quite a bit in the last few years, so staying behind the leading edge is good for the nerves.

1.
Beacuse there are too many threads with iOS 16 problems 😂
I remember when I got my 13 pro, the iOS 15 threads were miles away more positive.
2.
13 pro is my first iPhone after many years on Android. I don't need the battery percentage or the widgets. I mean I'm tired of them. I want the clean look.
Whats more beautiful then this? (See image)
3.
Notifications hide at the bottom, not in the middle.
Thats it.
Long live 15.7.1. Long live the king 👑 😂

I‘ve got an iPad Air 5 which came with iPadOS 15.6. I’m staying there because iOS updates have historically obliterated performance and battery life, and it happened to me after Apple forced my previously flawless 9.7-inch iPad Pro on iOS 9 to iOS 12 and destroyed battery life. I didn’t even update it myself, infuriating. Therefore, I’m staying.

Can't trust Apple to not throttle an old iPhone on a newer OS, and Apple doesn't trust us enough to let us roll back to an older OS that doesn't get bogged down.

I’m using a dark mode switching wallpaper from iOS 13 and I’m afraid to lose it if I upgrade

I’m not, I’m still on ios14, because of CSAM spyware being bundled into iOS15. It’s not a risk I can take. Every semester some lonely freshmen girls send me their nudes. I turn the messages over to admin, bc we have a protocol and the admin will deal with them about it. …but I don’t also need to go to prison over things I can’t control just because Apple thinks they’re saving the world by throwing their users privacy out the window. Some of our students are not yet 18. It’s just not a risk I can take, so iOS15 and onward is a no-go.

That’s good point but at this time is impossible to downgrade so…
