iPhone Why can't the weather app find the cities I want?

because the apple's weather app sucks. weather channel app all day
Don't they basically use the same data anyway?

But as I recall Yahoo! weather basically uses The Weather Channel for their data. As for what the app offers and how it looks, yes, that's somewhat different (although personally the simplicity of some is just right for some people as that's the information they need and it's made pretty clear without much else when they use the app).
yea i like detailed weather so that's why i stick to twc
Sure, that makes sense. Probably doesn't help much with the issue the OP is having though. Although if they are happy to switch weather apps then perhaps it can help work around that issue (by basically avoiding it), assuming it all works fine with the app they switch to.
