I prefer my watch to be quiet most times, but I think it should ignore silent mode when there’s an alarm going off.

I even tried to set up a shortcut to turn silent mode off at a certain time of night but it fails every time.

Does anyone else struggle with this? I’m gonna forget to take it off silent mode one day and I’m gonna oversleep.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Am I missing something here?

Creating an automation that runs when bedtime starts has worked perfectly for me.

Need to ask: sure you have/had "run immediately" checked in your Automation. Default is "Run After Confirmation".

It started working after I moved the automations to the "Apple Watch" folder inside Shortcuts
