Why does iOS 11 run better on my iPad mini than my iPhone 7 Plus?

i get a lot of stuttering on my iPhone 7 Plus that I’m just not getting on my iPad mini 4. Isn’t my iPhone 7 Plus more powerful than my iPad?

Are they set up with exactly the same? If they have the same apps, photos and other data, I’d first check the battery health on the phone. If thats fine, something is corrupted in your software. You may have to restore the phone as new without using a backup to see if it fixes it. If it does, you can try to restore it using a backup to see if it acts up again.

As previously asked - are they running the same apps? I think in many cases of poor performance it is the specific apps and combination that causes issues (not saying there are NO Apple issues).
