iPad Why does Meta hate the iPad so much?

Instagram is simply the iPhone version and WhatsApp is probably the only messaging app in the world to not support the iPad at all. They even added Android tablet support for WhatsApp but still nothing for the iPad.

With iPadOS 16.4 I thought WhatsApp web notifications would finally work on the iPad. But nope, it doesn’t. It does prompt for the notification permission when enabling it in the WhatsApp Web PWA settings, but the notifications don’t even appear, only the badge count updates upon launch.
