Why doesn’t the 14 have macro mode, when the 14 pro does, as both use ultra wide camera?

I thought this camera was the same, so is it just software? Is there an app that can do macro on 14?

If it’s just software, or an “added” feature in pro by Apple again, pretty poor show.

I have the 14 pro, but running of push price up, I may get just the 15, or stick with 14 pro, but like the macro.

Ah ok I thought they were exact same camera.

I would say it’s a reasonable prediction. We were originally expecting the ultra wide on iPhone 14 to have AF based on Kuo. It may finally show up.

I’m just contemplating, if I upgrade, to go to a 15/15 plus, rather than pro as the price increase again, for UK more, is getting too much.

If it has a lot of 14 Pro features, which rumoured to, might stay or go standard.

Since 2019 when Apple started the regular and pro lineup, or 2018 even though it was not called pro, some features from Pro models of current generation seem to get introduced in the next regular release... Dynamic Island as an easily noticeable example... The 2023 lineup seems/expected to use the Dynamic Island instead of the iPhone 13 series/14 regular notch...

I’m hoping that to. So basically the 15 and 15 plus become 14 Pro.

Reason is the rumoured increase in cost again, and it’s been mad here in UK, and I may go for the plus for bigger screen this year.
