Why are we in 2021 an apps like Google Docs or Google Sheets are so painful to use on a iPad? Key features are missing, the compatibility with cursor and trackpad is terrible to say the least, and the user interface is just not intuitive and simple. Why a service-centred company like Google would offer such a poor experience of their services on a tablet? These aren’t productivity apps at all.

MS Office apps on iPad aren’t bad at all, at least in comparison to GSuite.

I actually agree with that to a point - they are missing functionality I need but are quite good for most usage. Same thing with Photoshop. I was being a bit sarcastic - these apps tend to be excoriated as terrible on the iPad.
