Is it $600 or $800? I guess that depends on which part of your post one looks at.

I'm not sure which country you're in, but all four US carriers have phones that cost as much as the iPhone (or more) -- and you can get insurance on them.

Where did you hear that you couldn't get insurance on the iPhone?

simple I am basing that complete off cingular and what phones they do not offer it on any there very high end phone do not have it. The blackberry does not have it. Hell none of there smart phones have it. And by the looks of it any cingular phone that cost over 100 bucks after 2 year contract does not have it offered. So there not a chance of hell that the iPhone will have it offered for it.

but on a side note I was looking though the cingular stuff and it looks pretty clear that the iPhone will have a GPS navigation system in it of some type because that seems to be offer as a service for a lot of there phones.
