I'm working with an editor who's never used FCP X before. It's going OK except every time I import an XML from her, there are tons of smart collections. And I dont know why. Then I looked at the library she's been working in for months, and there were literally hundreds of smart collections in the library.
I cannot figure out what she must be doing that is causing that. She usually makes a new project each day and saves the old projects. There's a new library for each month so that the libraries dont have too many projects. I don't quite get why copying a project should cause smart collections to be copied but I feel like that might be happening.
Any ideas? I hope I gave enough information to be helpful. It's a hard problem to diagnose but it's slowly don FCP X for her.
