iPhone 11 Pro Why is my restore from iCloud back taking so long

I was having issues with my iPhone 11 Pro Max so Apple told me to set phone back to factory settings and then do a restore which I did from my iCloud back up and it’s now been about 7 hrs and it’s still says it’s restoring is this normal?

iCloud restore largely depends on how many data you had before restore. The more the longer it takes. Also, tons of small files tend to drag the restore process longer than usual.

Yeah. My iCloud restore also takes several hours if not days, and my backup isn’t super big (30GB or so).

Never try to expect what Apple service can bring you. Just give the restore a few more hours or a few more days.

Or, if there’s any Apple store open, try to continue ur restore at Apple store while connected to store wifi.

Make sure its on wifi and plug it in and leave it.

It looks like you have less than 1GB of data to restore. It shouldn’t take 7+ hours to restore, unless you have a very slow connection or one that is inconsistent.

I agree this looks like it’s taking a while. Hopefully it’s done after the night if you left it on WiFi and with the. Able plugged in.

Hm, that is weird for sure. Maybe try to set it up again but from a different network? Is your connection a fast one?

I fixed my post. A bit early reading the forum (first post in this thread) and thinking it was a watch restore related to the phone.

I would try turning the phone off and back on. That may allow you to start over. if it doesn’t, I suggest entering DFU mode and going through the process again.
