iPhone SE (2016) Why no airdrop icon on Control Center on my iPhone SE

I've Googled and Googled, but nothing suggested will show the airdrop icon on the Control Center of my iPhone SE. Consequently, no airdrop function available to me at this time. (Yes, airdrop restriction is in the ON position.)

Suggestions?

If on iOS 11, a long press in area with Wi-fi and Airplane Mode will bring up the option to toggle airdrop settings.

Got it, thanks for the reply with the response that worked for me. Airdrop was Off when I finally found the "switch."
