Is this thing ungrounded? I read that only 3 prong power adapters are grounded.

The main reason for wanting a grounded plug is if you can touch anything metal on the outside of the device. The ground plug usually grounds the metal of the case/internals to protect the user. Since the power adapter is plastic and there are no exposed metal parts, this is not a problem.
