I have a playlist of 3,479 songs where I regularly add new songs to sync them with iPhone every couple of weeks.

Just today I happened to sync the updated playlist, but when I check my iPhone "About" section it now says 3,367 songs. However, the playlist that I synced includes 3,479 songs.

When my iPhone is connected to iTunes the number of songs under Devices > Music is correct: 3,479. Why won't it sync all the songs then?? Surely all of them are ticked. What seems to be the problem?

This happened to me once before and the only thing that helped was deleting all the songs from my iPhone (which is cumbersome to begin with) and also deleting my playlist in iTunes and reloading it into iTunes and then syncing everything again. But then the next time I synced my playlist again it wouldn't sync all the songs.

This is quite frustrating.

Any ideas?
