Hello,
I've noticed that Wifi opens automatically after new ios update. Is there some thing to stop that? as I think it drains battery by doing so.

Just turn it off. It will not come on again unless you reboot your phone.

Wrong. Apple has decided to pretend to turn it off, but then turn it back on arbitrarily later.

Now, instead of using the more-convenient flip-up control panel, you have to root around in Settings to turn Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off. And then if you want to turn it back on, you can with the flip-up panel... but you can't turn it off again there.

Of course that doesn't make sense, but nonsense is commonplace at Apple.

That aspect of it has already been brought up in this thread, although it doesn't seem to be about that.
