Resolved Will Apple Music keep track of play counts....

My Mid-2012 MBP hasn’t been useable for a very long time. My question.... Since I’m using my iPhone for everything, will listening to my Apple Music playlist on my iPhone be counted as plays on my playlist when I eventually get to use a Mac again? (I’m hoping for an upgrade. I’ve had to replace the charger and a bracket I can’t remember the of....)
