Will the ios 15.1 upcoming updated be good enough to be a daily driver?

I am planning to buy the ipad 9th gen (64GB + Wifi only), and was wondering what are the major issues in the OS.
This will be my first apple product, so I am a bit nervous since I come from the Android/Windows platform.
So please tell me whether it is good enough to be a daily driver for me, assuming I just want to use it for web browsing, storing files, netflix, YouTube, document editing, maybe some games.
