Thanks for the info. I was going to order that same OWC RAM, but I am also planning on upgrading the hard drive to the 200GB 7200 Hitachi and NewEgg has that cheaper than OWC so I figured I would order it from the same place. The flash drive is a nice bonus, but not having it is not a dealbreaker.

might want to go with ram that has a warranty you don't have to pay for... i recently installed http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other World Computing/53IM2DDR4GBK/ in my mbp... same price and good warranty.. although not sure how much that free flash drive means to you

Your point is moot because Mushkin, like many other memory manufactorers offer a lifetime warranty on their RAM. As and added plus, NewEgg is a great company to deal with and has a great RMA policy.
