I've been testing out Windows 10 and have noticed that half of the time Google Drive seems to lock my project files*. This never happens in MacOS. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? I'm not certain how to diagnose it. The file/folder tree is all set to full control.
*ie, working on a document, go to save, and the file is locked/can't be overwritten. I'll then save as new, which again is locked when i come to save it.
The system uses 3 nvme ssds in raid 0, not sure if that's the issue. Only seems to happen when Google Drive is enabled. Maybe it's Windows Defender defending too much. Any help appreciated!
