I connected my laptop (Macbook Pro 2012) to my TV (Samsung) & set my laptop to only show desktop 2 (Samsung TV) in display settings. (Using Windows 10 with the latest build)

I decided to try a resolution above 1080p (I have a 4k TV but laptop only supports upto 2560 by 1600) to 2560 by 1600.

The TV comes up blank now & I can't see my main desktop. My computer kinda freezes until I take out the cable too (20 secs to unfreeze and show laptop screen).

I tried the safe mode option with low video settings but it doesn't like the TV being plugged in & doesn't show my laptop screen still.)

I tried team viewer on my phone but the laptop seems unresponsive until I disconnect my TV.

How do I reset the display settings (so I can reconfigure my settings to show 1080p on my TV again?) :-/

Ok I Solved the issue: I had to do a clean removal of my graphics driver.

-To fully clean my graphics settings I downloaded & used 'Display Driver Uninstaller'
