Windows 8 partition in update loop

I don’t know if I’m posting this in the right place so apologies if I’m not. I haven’t booted up the Windows side of my computer in ages so when I tried, naturally it had to update. After 15 minutes of updating, it said, “We couldn’t complete the updates. Undoing changes. Don’t turn off your computer.” It stays stuck like this for a while, then restarts and when I try to get back into Windows, just does the same thing. Is there anything I can do? I just want to get into Windows. I’m kind of competent when it comes to computers (like enough so to follow troubleshooting instructions) but this has me at a loss.

One method to fix that is to boot to your Windows installer, and run a repair install.
