If it turns into more like boot into Windows versus Windows emulation, it might be interesting.
I know I’m showing off my ignorance, but I thought a VM was emulation, or something like a software program that provides a means of communication, a bunch of converted calls that the Mac can send for Windows to understand. The end result was that you’d not get the same performance as with Bootcamp. This is more like booting Windows bare-metal vs. booting Windows in a VM.
Both options don´t have any relation to emulation.
