I am debating doing a PSU upgrade on my XPS so I can add more powerful video cards to the mix. On the dell website these products were being discussed with no firm conclusion either way. I want to ask the experts here what are you thought in using these on a XPS 8940 system.
This PSU will fit dimensionally, and I would upgrade the fan to a noctua unit...
Then, this cable, apparently makes it possible to run the 700w PSU on the dell Motherboard etc.
It looks like it should all work as long the connector works as advertised.
