You'd be better off trying to run the Windows version in Parallels or Crossover - the PS2 port was even more compromised than the Mac/PC version (and doesn't have any of the QOL improvements that the 'Anniversary Edition' brought).
Unfortunately the volunteers who have been maintaining Oni over the years don't have access to the source code, and Take 2 doesn't seem to have any interest in Oni and Myth (and seems to have forgotten they even acquired them from Bungie in 2000), so an updated Mac version is probably never going to happen.
