Who else is enjoying killing some Nazis? ;D

I picked this up, just done the tutorial section but Mario Odyssey is taking over my free time.

I didn’t even know this was released till I saw it front and centre in a Tesco entrance! Really loved the marketing for this too!

Currently playing 'The evil within two' and I will be finishing that shortly, then I will be picking up Wolfenstein 2. The reviews are excellent (With an average of 90 for a rating) and from what I read, it seems it's been improved in almost every angle over Wolfenstein: The New Order. It looks great.

I'm anxious to get it, though I'm not liking how game makers continue to add sex scenes to their games. I don't want to sound prudish but its not something I really need to see.

Overall though I think it looks fantastic.

Got it yesterday to run and played for half an hour
mostly watching cut-scenes though
- great fun! Loved TNO and Old Blood already so much so really glad they kept the formular unchanged and from what little that I've heard (not reading/watching any reviews ) improved on it.

Can't wait to shoot up some nazi-scum! :D

Edit: Minor complaint would be that I certainly hope the pre-order bonus mission / episode 0 will be free4all at some point becauseI defo don't want to miss out on that!

Thank you Jah...I'm so Blessed
I love this game, it’s getting to be a real problem with Wolfenstein and Mario dividing my free time.

I’m I wrong for trying to stealth levels...chopping Nazis legs off shoving an axe in the chest is brilliant.

Bless

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
Yeap, I’m killing me some Nazis hehe, it’s friggin tough though and I refuse to lower the difficulty! I only have it on the third setting lol! Pretty much the same MO as the first one, only bigger and badder! Some of the enemies are massive! But I won’t say which, leave you to find that out for yourselves hehehe..

Totally agree. I have no problem with sex scenes, just don't want them in my games. It's awkward and pointless, really.

Well, in Wolfie 1 they had a few sex scenes, and in Wolfie 2 this means she’s pregnant. And they play to that in the story. So at least they saw it through lol!! They don’t bother me really, I get more annoyed with poor controls in games.

Wolfenstein II is on sale for $30 standard or $40 deluxe on Xbox for anyone with a Gold membership. Enjoy!

Edit to add that it's Xbox One X enhanced, something I didn't know. Awesome. Can't wait.

Amazon has it on prime for 24 right now, but is it worth it?

Its funny, I've really enjoyed the prior wolfy games and I was all set to buy this, but for some reason, I'm having trouble pulling the trigger (pun intended) on this. I probably can't pass it up, and I'll hit the buy button on amazon but right now my gut is telling me not to buy it.

100% worth it. Xbox, if that’s your platform, has the digital delux for $40 or the standard for $30 if you prefer to go disc-less.

Amazon has the PS4 for 24.99. I guess I'll pull the trigger

I never pulled the trigger on Wolfy but I did get it for Christmas and I started playing it this weekend. So far, its a very enjoyable game.

This game is crashing my base PS4. I would thoroughly enjoy killing some Nazis.

I'm actually underwhelmed by the game. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but here's a couple of things that I think are part of the issue for me.
  • Cut scenes are too long, and there's too many of them. I'm only at the train depot in area 52 (or trying to get into area 52) and I need to lower a rocket train. Up to that point I felt I had to endure an excessive number of cut scenes which were way too long.
  • Spending too much in the sub and the sub seems overly complex for no reason at all. The graphic details are astounding, but I feel I'm spending too much time wondering around there finding where I need to go is frustrating.
  • Profanity. I'm no prude, but it seems over the top with this game. As a comparison, take Fallout 4 drops the f-bomb here and there, but its done in way that helps with driving the point, where as wolfenstein just throws it around everywhere.

Whelp, I finished Wolfenstein 2.

I played it on and off over the past couple of months. As noted above, I'm mostly underwhelmed by the game. I'll not belabor the points I made above but I felt the game just didn't grab me like the prior versions. The story line seemed ok, but was just not captivating, which is sad, because I think the concept is there, they just didn't execute it - at least to my liking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

unless im forgetting something, the only 'sex' scene i noticed was a fairly short and comic scene where one of the good guys was caught with the fat german girl. its not remotely pornographic.
