Thirty-two years of messing with computers, and I am so tired of them just changing things on their own.

This only affects the "Photos" part of my SE 2020. About once a month, give or take, the landscape view won't work with photos when I flip the phone 90 degrees sideways. I forget how to reset this so I just reboot, which isn't a bad idea anyway.

Why does it do this, and how can I prevent it from continually happening?

I titled the post wrong.

It's supposed to be set to change as I move the phone, which it always does, everywhere, EXCEPT when viewing photos. Once in a while it won't "landscape" while in the photos app -- it will remain in vertical mode unless I reboot it.
