Workflow: FCPX to Resolve or Resolve to FCPX

Best workflow for quality?
I mean, if you are working with cinemaDNG you need resolve to transcode it first before FCPX can use it correct?
But if you are working with RED footage, there is the RED plugin to import directly into FCPX. Which would be edit first, grade second, then final Export from Resolve?
